Automated Robot


This automated robot (affectionally known as 'wobot') was developed as part of a Mechatronics course at RMIT University.  It was designed to autonoumously complete the 2016 Warman Challenge course, which involved crossing a 'ravine' between two platforms (see image in gallery.)


The robot was coded and prototyped using Arduino boards, it utilised highly accurate stepper motors to precisely locate itself aided by infared sensors.  As a team of four, we managed to place 4th in the 2016 RMIT Warman Competition.
